The Glowworm Cave Project, Holliston High School’s Studio D Gallery, Holliston, MA, October-November 2010
 
Holliston High School students will collaborate with me on a glow-in-the-dark project for the school’s gallery.

Teaching Beginning Oil painting for High School Students at the Holliston Mill, Holliston, MA
 
I will be teaching this class from Sept. through mid-December this fall (2009). We will use still life to learn to paint in oils. This class is full, but if there is enough interest, I will start another session. Please contact me for more information.

Vermont Studio Center Residency Award
 
To my delight, I was awarded a partial fellowship to attend a two-week residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. I’ll be there from November 9th through the 21st, 2008.
 
UPDATE: I’ll actually be there the last two weeks of January, as I ran into a scheduling conflict due to a very important business trip that my husband needs to attend in November.
 
Painting Selected for Caladan Gallery’s Online Juried Show: Plant Life
 
My painting of brambles, Entanglement, was selected for inclusion in Caladan Gallery’s online show: Plant Life. This show will be up from April 20th to June 9th, 2008, and will be archived for several months thereafter.

Hopkinton Women’s Art Forum
 
I participated in a Cultural Arts Alliance: Women’s Art Forum event at the Hopkinton Library, on Saturday, March 29th, from 11 am - 1 pm. Fourteen women artists gave short talks about their work.
 
MFA Completed
 
I’m pleased to have successfully completed the requirements for the MFA in Visual Arts through Lesley University’s Art Institute of Boston. January, 2008.
