About Dianna Vosburg

Dianna Vosburg holds an MFA in Visual Art from Lesley University's College of Art and Design. She maintains a studio practice in Framingham, Massachusetts, where she experiments with optical effects in oils, thin film interference, and phosphorescence.

Dianna creates deeply glazed, cinematic oil paintings that blend academic oil painting techniques and modern pigments like interference colors to capture and emit glowing light and color. Her paintings of New England gothic landscapes, celestial dramas, and twisted fabric create elegiac expressions of dark beauty at moments of transformation. These reflections on our predicament as conscious material beings, bounded by time, in a broken, yet beautiful world, share the experiences of the sublime and the uncanny while advocating for a revolution in our relationship to the world.
